CASA advocates for our community's most vulnerable children.
So, what exactly is CASA?
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a nonprofit organization committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children removed from their families and placed in foster care due to abuse or neglect. Our volunteers are screened and trained to gather information and report to the juvenile court concerning the needs of each child - assisting the court in making difficult decisions to serve the best interests of each child.
The primary responsibilities of a CASA include the following:
You can be the catalyst for change in a child's life. Join our growing community of volunteers and make a positive impact in the lives of children in foster care.
There are different ways to help out. Make a difference by serving as a volunteer advocate, or becoming a donor, or supporting our program by helping us increase community awareness as a CASA Champion...or do all three!
